Who are we?
Pembrokeshire Asbestos Testing specialises in professional asbestos surveys for domestic properties, ensuring safety and compliance. Founded by Steve Harper, a highly experienced building surveyor and qualified carpenter with over 45 years in the construction industry, the company delivers accredited asbestos testing and sampling services. Steve began working with asbestos inspection and testing in the early 2000s and has since built a trusted reputation for identifying and managing asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in homes across Pembrokeshire and surrounding areas.
What is the Purpose of an Asbestos Survey and what do we do?
- To help manage asbestos in your premises.
- To provide accurate information on the location, amount, and condition of Asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).
- Assess the level of damage or deterioration in the ACMs and determine whether remedial action is required.
- The survey information will be used to prepare a record of the location of any asbestos, commonly called an asbestos register, and an asbestos plan for the building(s).
- To help identify all the ACMs to be removed before refurbishment work or demolition.
